A: We try to perform all website migrations as quickly as possible. Nonetheless, we don’t have a fixed time frame for web site migrations. There are different things that you need to take into account – the mere size of your site and the workload of our web site migration team, etc. We always strive to implement each migration in under 48 hours. With less sizeable sites, our team typically manages to finish in under 24 hours.

A: Yup. We’ll need to have the name of the website that you would like us to transfer. We’ll also require a way to log in to your current hosting account so that we can get the content pertaining to your site.

A: Your web site will continue to work just like it did before with your former hosting provider. When we are through with the transfer, your web site will be configured to work on our platform and we’ll alert you to preview it. If everything is functioning properly, all you will have to do is edit the name server resource records pertaining to your domain name. Your site will be migrated over to us with no downtime whatsoever.

A: While we migrate your content, your hosting provider will not be aware of the migration at all. We will never get in touch with them in any way.

A: We can migrate your web site from any hosting provider or any Linux–powered hosting platform provided that we can get access to the Control Panel and there’s File Transfer Protocol access available.The only websites that we cannot transfer are those based on closed–source software applications like Wix, BaseKit, Jimdo, Website Tonight, Four Square and Mr Site.
